Is the December 1st Election Date Now in Jeopardy?
Concerns were raised by Attorney Scott Hurley and Attorney Scott Reams, the court appointed receiver, that the completed Property Owner list has not been received. Attorney Preston Hawkins indicated during the prior hearing on August 22nd that the list used for billing the 2024 fees would be provided “if not today, within the next day or two”.
“Election Buddy” requires an accurate property owner list, including Parcel IDs to ensure a transparent and impartial voting process. Failure to provide accurate records may not only delay the election but may compromise the legitimacy of any vote. It is imperative that this list be submitted to avoid further disruption!
Judge Boniface has granted the Defendants an additional 2 weeks to provide the property owner list with a deadline date of September 26, 2024.
