Memorial Day weekend is upon us and, just in time, the lake is nearly at full pool. Even with rain in our forecast for parts of the weekend, hopefully everyone will get out and enjoy the onset of summer! Catch up with friends and neighbors at the Craft & Vendor Fair on Saturday morning from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Whatever your plans for this weekend include, please stay safe.

While we are talking holidays, the Jerry Zobrist family asked us to share their information for the Golf Cart parade to be held on Friday, July 5th.
Additionally, they have asked us to share the following:

"Thank you to the Deerfield Community for coming together with the Jerry Zobrist family to host a wonderful 4th of July parade over the years. However, after 18 years this will be the last parade that
our families will host. It's been a wonderful run but it's time to retire and pass the parade to others in the community. We encourage our wonderful neighbors to pick up the torch and carry this Norris tradition into
the future generations. We are looking forward to a great parade on Friday, July 5, 2024, and hope to see everyone again.

The golf cart parade has always been a highlight of the Independence Day celebrations with families showing off their creativity and imagination. Hopefully this year the decorations will be extra special as the community says Thank you to the Jerry Zobrist family for the past 18 years!
